Daughter of William and Caroline (Gieck) Morre, Emilia Morre married Otto Schmidt on 29 Nov 1906. The couple made their home in Detroit, MI, where two children were born: Crystal and Joy. "Millie" was a favorite aunt to her niece, Rey, daughter of Millie's sister Regina (Morre) Neese. Rey and her brother, Wilbur Neese, lived in Detroit for a time with this kind and understanding aunt and uncle after the death of their mother.
