NOTE:

The History of Schley County, Georgia compiled and sponsored by the Schley County Preservation society, c. 1982 W H Wolfe & Associates, Roswell, GA pages 240-244 has a big write up by Winifred Greene Williams that tells about this family. She says that son, William Peter Greene, B 23 Oct 1840, was killed in service during the Civil War at the Battle of Malvern Hill, VA on 18 July 1862. I checked but there is no memorial page for him on FAG (that would pop up in VA, that is! )
