Paul J. Dzuriscko, 3000 Armstrong Way, Hermitage, died at 5:22 p.m. Friday (6-23-06) in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System. He was 72.
Mr. Dzuriscko was born Jan. 23, 1934, in Sharon to George Dzuriscko Sr. and Helen Sabol Dzuriscko.
He graduated in 1951 from Brookfield High School and worked as a craneman on the Sharon side of Sharon Steel Corp. for 37 years, retiring in 1992.
Mr. Dzuriscko was a member of St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church, Hermitage, where he was part of the church's catering and choir.
He was a member of GCU Lodge 258 and Steelworkers Union Local 1191.
Mr. Dzuriscko attended Shenango Valley Business School and Northwest Television School in Chicago. He was an avid bowler, member of St. Michael's Byzantine Softball team and a sports fan.
His wife, the former Angela T. Pagliaroli, whom he married May 15, 1976, died Jan. 7, 2006.
Surviving are: several nieces and nephews.
Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mary Putkovich and Anna Dzuriscko; and two brothers, George J. Dzuriscko Jr. and John Dzuriscko.
