Mrs. Albert G. Abbe
Pioneer Resident of Royalton Township Passed Away Thursday.
Mrs. Margaret E. Abbe, who has been ill for sometime with an abcess [sic], died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. O. Beech, Royalton, Thursday afternoon.
Deceased was born in Huron, Wayne county, N. Y., July 7, 1828, and came to St. Joseph in 1845. She was united in marriage to Albert. G. Abbe Jan. 28, 1846, and seven children were the result of this union. The husband preceeded the wife about ten years ago. Of the seven children, five survive, they being Jasper Abbe of Lincoln, Frank Abbe and Mesdames E. O. Beech and Henry Miners of Royalton, and Charles Abbe of North Yakima, Wash., who spent several weeks here this simmer visiting his mother, brothers and sisters.
The funeral will take place from her late home, Sunday, at 11 a.m., Rev. Showerman of Stevensville officiating. Burial will take place in the Abbe lot, Royalton cemetery.
