A. HUDACHKO TO BE BURIED AT NINE SATURDAY
Services Will Be Conducted in St. Stephen's Church.
Funeral services for Andrew Hudachko, aged 57, will be held from his late home, 1316 E. Broadway at 8:30 o'clock Saturday morning at nine from St. Stephen's church, at which time a requiem mass will be celebrated. burial will follow in St. Stephen's cemetery.
The son of the late Michael and Elizabeth Hudachko, Mr. Hudachko was born in Slovakia, August 15, 1880. When he was five years of age he was brought to America by his parents, the family locating in this city where Mr. Hudachko became a miner. He became active in th Miners union holding the post of secretary and treasurer of Local 800 for some time. He was also superintendent of streets in this city, one term under Mayor H. W. Lester and two terms under Sam Myer.
The marriage of Mr. Hudachko, and Miss Susie Urechko occurred in this city June 11, 1900, and they became the parents of 12 children, all of whom are left, together with their mother as follows: Mrs. Sue Kozak, Willington, Del., Mrs. Mary Wargo, and Andrew, Francis, Edward, Pauline, Michael, Lucille, Louis, Albert, George and Robert Hudachko,all of Streator. There are four grandchildren. The father of Mr. Hudachko died in this city 25 years ago and his in 1927.
Mr. Hudachko also leaves two brothers, John Hudachko, local undertaker, and Thomas A. Hudachko of Rock Spring, Wyo., and a sister, Sister M. Lucinda, Order of St. Francis, Johnstown, Pa. Only brother and two sisters preceded him in death.
Throughout his residence here, Mr. Hudachko was a devout member of St. Stephen's church.
