Major League Baseball Player. He was a first baseman for four teams in twelve years in the majors. Stoval played for the Cleveland Blues (1904), Cleveland Naps (1905 to 1911), St. Louis Browns (1912 to 1913), and finished in the Federal League with the Kansas City Packers (1914 to 1915). In 5,222 plate appearances he batted .265 with 564 runs batted in. He had 142 career stolen bases.
