John MacBride
Birth: May 7, 1865
Death: May 5, 1916

Social reformer who was involved in the Easter 1916 Uprising in Dublin. He signed the Irish Republic Proclamation, which was read on the steps of the General Post Office on Sackville Street. He was court martialled under the Defence of The Realms Acts, and was sentenced to death. He and his fellow signers were then shot in the former stone-breakers' yard at Kilmainham Jail, Dublin.
