Evangeline - Funeral services for Attie Bergeaux Hebert, 85, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Rev. Kenneth Mayne will officiate.

Burial will be in the Tee-Mamou Cemetery under the direction of Matthews and Son Funeral Home of Jennings.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 11 p.m. today, with a rosary at 6 p.m. and from 8 a.m. Monday until the time of services.

Mrs. Hebert died at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2000 at her residence. She was born on Sept. 20, 1914 in Evangeline.

A native and resident of Evangeline, she was a retired cafeteria worker for the Acadia Parish School Board.

Survivors include her three sons; Norman Hebert and Neil Hebert, both of Evangeline, and Patrick "Ricky" Hebert of Lafayette; one brother, Howard Bergeaux of Evangeline; four sisters, Mrs. Eva Miller of Evangeline, Mrs. Rita Wade of New Iberia, and Mrs. Ulyesse (Hertha) Fruge and Mrs. Loyd (Loah) Simar, both of Jennings; 15 grandchildren; 25great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Theophile Hebert; four sons, Aulden, Tommy, Roland and Arlen Hebert; and one daughter, Joan Andrepont.

Pallbearers will be Roderick Andrepont, Rand Andrepont, Lynn Hebert, Norman "Skeeter" Hebert, David Hebert and Daniel Hebert. Honorary pallbearer will be Gerald Hebert.
