Mary L. C. Vanderbilt died last Thursday at the home of her son, 337 Oceanview avenue, Woodhaven. She was a member of the P. E. Church of St. Matthew, Richmond Hill, and also of the Red Cross Auxiliary of St. Matthew’s church. She was the widow of John Vanderbilt, a relative of the late Commodore Vanderbilt and a veteran of the Civil War. She is survived by a son, Eugene, and three grandsons. Funeral services were held Saturday Funeral services were held Saturday at her late home, the Rev. F. V. Baer officiating. Interment Sunday at Greenwood Cemetery.
