OBITUARY
MRS. MAX HARTSOUGH

Mrs. Max Hartsough (Viola Mae Ries Myer), 87, a former resident of the Wayne area, died Thursday night in the Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.

She was born Nov. 22, 1878, in Wood County, to Mr. and Mrs. John Ries (Almina Swander). Her first husband, Jasper Myer, died in 1922. Mr. Hartsough, whom she married in 1932, died in 1961.

She was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Fostoria.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Hannah Thrush of Oregon; two step-daughters, Mrs. Ruth Chambers of Wayne and Mrs. Beatrice Dotson of Toledo; a step-son, Albert Hartsough of Smithville; 11 grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 27 step-great-grandchildren. A daughter, Elizabeth, died last December.

Services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the Baublitz-Barndt Funeral Home, Wayne, with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
