WEBB, LOTTIE JANE "ROBINSON" - age 86, of Oneida, passed away Tuesday, March
30, 1999 at The Scott County Hospital in Oneida. Born in Princeton, Kentucky
August 25, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Maudie Robinson.
Mrs. Webb was a member of The First Baptist Church of Oneida. She attended
Murray State as well as The University of Kentucky and taught school in
Kentucky and Tennessee for 12 years. Later, she worked for 42 years with her
husband in Webb's Hardware of Oneida. She was a past Worthy Matron of The
Order of Eastern Star, past Grand Deputy of The Rainbow Girls in the state of
Tennessee. Formerly she had been active with The Girl Scouts, The Oneida
School PTA Programs, The Oneida Garden Club and other civic organizations. In
addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Martha Mae
Hart. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Renfro Webb of Oneida; one
daughter, Peggy Booher and husband Ray of Atlanta, GA; one son, Bill Webb and
wife, Gail of Maryville, TN; six grandchildren, Chris Booher and wife, Katie,
Catie Booher and Carrie Booher, all of Atlanta, GA, Robyn Webb of Knoxville,
TN, Stacy Greene and husband, Jonathan of Alcoa, TN and Mandy Webb of
Maryville, TN. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 1 at 8 p.m.
in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Philip Kazee officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday, April 2 at 10 a.m. at Carson
Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until
time of the funeral at 8 p.m. at Jones & Son Funeral Home. Jones & Son
Funeral Home of Oneida is in charge of the arrangements for Lottie Jane
"Robinson" Webb.
