World War II veteran
CATAWBA - Mr. Nay B. Robinson, 71, of 247 Leisure Land, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 1991 at Piedmont Medical Center.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. Tuesday at Greene Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy McCraw and the Rev. Rick Kirchinger officiating. Burial will be at the Catawba Baptist Church cemetery in Rock Hill.
Mr. Robinson was born in Lancaster County. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II, a Disabled American Veteran, member of American Legion Post 34 and Veterans of Foreign Wars post 2889. He was a retired employee of Rock Hill Printing and Finishing Co. in Rock Hill and a member of Zion United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Geneva Clinton Robinson of Catawba; two sons, Robbie C. Robinson of Kershaw and Johnny D. Robinson of Kings Mountain, N.C.; his mother, Jennie M. Robinson of Lancaster; two brothers, Coy Robinson and Otha B. Robinson, both of Lancaster; his sister, Eva Crimminger of Kershaw and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Greene Funeral Home and other times at the home.
