Burr Oak - Dorothy May Platt, 91, Burr Oak, died Friday, Nov. 7, at the Jewell County Hospital in Mankato.

Mrs. Platt was born May 17, 1895, at Otego. She was a homemaker and a member of the Burr Oak Christian Church, the Order of the Eastern Star of Jewell, and the American Legion Auxiliary of Burr Oak.

She is survived by two daughters, Helen Lough of 540 S. Phillips and Ernestine Boyd of Palmdale, Calif; a brother, Richard Waugh of Manhattan; eight grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 pm.m Monday at the Burr Oak Christian Church, the Rev. Merlin Enabnit officiating. Burial will be in the Burr Oak Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the church.

Visitation is at Kramer Funeral Home, Mankato.
