Robert Lyle Castor
Mr. Castor was the son of the late Dr. Gordon Tobias Castor and Lena Donahue Castor.
He attended the University of West Virginia and was an US Army veteran, serving with the 101st Air Borne Division. He was a member of the American Legion and attended Park Circle Presbyterian Church. He had been vice-president of a Cedar Rapids, IA, and owned a Cedar Rapids rental equipment shop.
Surviving are his wife, Sueann Dye Castor; 1 son, Jeff Castor; 2 daughters, Jana Camp and Julie Bills ; one brother, Guy "Huey" Castor; one sister, Lola Thompson, and five grandchildren.
Memorial services were held at J. Henry Stuhr's Greenridge Chapel, North Charleston, Charleston Co., SC. Private interment:

Heather Eidem contacted the J. Henry Stuhr Funeral Chapel and Crematory regarding the placement of Robert Lyle Castor.
She received an email response from Kate Darby, Director of Administration, indicating that Robert Castor was cremated and his family received his remains. He is not buried at Dorchester or Summerville Memorial Gardens.
