Williams Peter Reynders was a Methodist minister for 15 years. He was a native of Ann Arbor, Michigan and a graduate of Central High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He also was a graduate of Macalester College in Minnesota and received his seminarian degree from Drake University in Iowa. From 1945 until 1956 Rev Reynders pastored in several undenominational churches in West Michigan, including Ada Congregational Church from 1953 to 1956 when he left Ada and joined Western Michigan Conference of Methodist Churches. From 1956 until 1967 he served in Methodist Churches in Lower West Michigan and was pastor of the Epworth United Methodist Church in Grand Rapids from 1968 to 1971. He retired in 1972.
