James D. Black Rites Thursday.
McLouth--Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Baptist Church here for James David BLACK, 72, Lawrence, who died Monday at a Lawrence hospital.

He was born Oct. 2, 1893 in Jefferson County and had lived at Lawrence eight years.

He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Kate Black, at home; four daughters, Mrs. Wilma YARKLEY, 625 Twiss, Topeka, Mrs. Opal SAWHILL and Mrs. Doris STANFIELD, both of Valley Center, and Mrs. Shirley DUNCAN, Wichita; nine sons, David Black, Robert Black, and Eldon Black, all of Salem, Ore.; Jame T. Black, Dale F. Black, and Lloyd Black, all of Lawrence, Homer Black, St. Marys, Kenneth BLack, Morro Bay, Calif., and Jerry Black, 2116 Ohio, Topeka; three sisters, Mrs. Emma EDMONDS and Mrs. Bess MILLER, both of McLouth, and Mrs. Mamie MILLER, Denison; a brother, Ed Black, McLouth; 43 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in McLouth Cemetery.

Bradford Funeral Home at McLouth is in charge.
