Mrs. Nancy BARNETT, widow of Henry BARNETT, who was making her home with her son-in-law, Henry F. MOW, north of town, died Tuesday after a brief illness, from paralysis,
aged about 74 years. She was the mother of nine children, only two of whom are living. Mrs. Henry F. MOW, of Richland township, and Mrs. Emela MUNKS, of Kansas, are living.

Additional Biographical Information.
Nancy Barnett was born about 1819 or 1820 in Kentucky. She was the oldest child of James Barnett and Hannah Conaway who married on July 9, 1818 in Bourbon County, Kentucky. Nancy's mother Hannah died in 1830. On September 2, 1830 in Bourbon County, Kentucky James Barnett obtained a license to marry Rosanna Neal. The family soon moved to Vermilion County, Illinois.
Nancy Barnett married Henry Barnett in Cass County, Indiana on March 12, 1840. He was her father's younger brother. They remained in Cass County for the 1850 and 1860 US censuses. Henry was listed as a farmer. They were in Rochester, Fulton County, Indiana for the 1870 and 1880 US censuses. Based on the census records, their children were: Matilda, Emily, Eliza, Annie, Mary, Sarah, Armilda, and twins Hannah and Henry William.
