Larry Dexter Hammock, 20, of 4629 Coventry, died Thursday afternoon in a local hospital following an accident in the London Gin Co-op.

He was born in Lawton, Oklahoma and had lived in Corpus Christi all his life. He graduated from Carroll High School, attended Del Mar College, and Texas A&M University for two years. He was a member of the Travis Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Hammock; two brothers, Arnie and Kyle, both of Corpus Christi; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L. P. King, Corpus Christi.

Funeral services will be at Cage-Mills Downtown Chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Don V. Richey, pastor of Travis Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Seaside Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Tracy Barrett, Donnie Royals, Mark Kirkland, Robert Murphy, Steve Kennedy, and Harry Brumfield.
