Mrs. Dora M. McAlarney, of 677 Peace Street,died yesterday afternoon at the St. Joseph Hospital, where she had been
re-admitted Saturday. She had been ailing several months.
She was born in Ebervale,the daughter of Milton Fisher and Anna Voltz ,and spent most of her life in Hazelton.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church,in Hazelton. Her husband, Harry McAlarney, died over 20 years ago, and she is survived by five children:
~ Harry, of Hatboro,New Jersey;
~ Leo, of Hazelton;
~ Mrs. John (Jeanette) Ginter,Niagara Falls New York;
~ Walter McAlarney ;
~ Joan McAlarney,both at home.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren; one sister,
~ Jeanette Fisher,of Hazelton;
and one brother,
~ Walter Fisher, of Shamokin.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 pm from the Krapf and Hughes Funeral Home with the Rev. E. Lawrence Bottiger officiating. Interment was made in the Mt. Laurel Memorial Park.
