TRINITY — Funeral for Carrie Mae Letson, 91, of Double Springs will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with the Rev. Junior Hale officiating.

Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Letson died Monday, Oct. 7, 2002, at Hendrick Nursing Home. She was born Sept. 15, 1911, in Lawrence County to Marion Hale and Rebecca Rose Hale. She was the widow of Ralph Letson. She was a retired nurse.

Survivors include four daughters, Lois Underwood of Moulton, Doris Cross of Courtland, Jean Palumbo of Gulf Shores and Jeanette Gillespie of Decatur; one brother, Archie Hale of Moulton; six sisters, Della Terry, Lula Collins, Francis Terry and Dorothy Nance, all of Moulton, Julia Letson of Courtland and Kay Harchlor of Birmingham; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Doug Underwood, Jason Underwood, Joseph Gibson, Carson Cross, Eric Jackson, Rick Cross, Shawn Bradley and Todd Gillespie.
