Mrs. Sater was born May 22, 1921, in Kansas City, Kan., and lived in Kansas City until moving to Neosho Falls in 1979. She was a 1939 graduate of Wyandotte High School, and was a member of St. Martin`s Catholic Church and its Altar Society in Piqua, Kan., for a number of years. She was also a member of the Sunflower Quilt Club, E.H.U., Woodson County Election Board and TOPS of Kansas 880.
Her survivors include her husband, David E. Sater; one son, three daughters, Linda Lofton, Neosho Falls, and two others; three brothers, Joseph Monslow and two others; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in St. Martin`s Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7 tonight at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapel, Iola.
