Lena May Colclasure, 91, of Flora, died at 6 a.m. Friday, December 27,2002, at Clay County Hospital in Flora.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Neal Funeral Home in Louisville. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Brother Rob Bowker officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Flora.
Mrs. Colclasure was born on September 4, 1911, in Flora, the daughter of Louie and Rinda (Coble) Hamilton. She married Carl A. Colclasure Sr. on June 8, 1929. He preceded her in death on May 25, 1985.
She worked in housekeeping at Carle Clinic Hospital and attended North Harter Christian Church in rural Flora.
Mrs. Colclasure is survived by a son, Arthur Colclasure of Marshall, Texas; a brother, Don Hamilton, of Flora; three sisters, Dorothy VanDyke, of Flora, Leona Totten, of Olney, and Captola Barbee, of Flora; and 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, Carl Colclasure Jr. and Omar Colclasure, a daughter, Pat Rittmiller, four brothers, Clint, Earl, Raymond and Bud Hamilton, one sister, Violet Wheeler, and three grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Clay County Health Department.
