Russell Birdwell's Sister Succumbs
Mrs. Tomasita Birdwell Meyer, 40, sister of publicist Russell Birdwell, died Sunday at her home in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., it was disclosed here.
Mrs. Meyer who performed with her sister, Cherie Valentine, in vaudeville and the theater for many years, was a former resident of Beverly Hills.
She leaves, in addition to her brother and sister, a daughter, Dorothea, 13, and her mother, Mrs. Lela M. Birdwell of Beverly Hills.
Funeral and interment will be held Wednesday at San Angelo, Tex., Mrs. Meyer's birthplace.
