Rev. Frederick Clifford Mittlefehldt, Jr. was the son of Frederick and Catharina (Zumstein) Mittlefehldt, Sr. Ada Alida (Lee) Middlefehldt was his 1st wife. They were married July 5, 1899. Ada died March 16, 1923. Kathleen (Jones) Gurney Mittlefehldt was his 2nd wife. They were married in 1925. Rev. Mittlefehldt was a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church/The Methodist Church: L 1894 Genesee (now Western New York) Conference 1901 F 1903. He was ordained Deacon September 27, 1903 at Olean: First by Bishop Daniel Ayres Goodsell - ordained Elder October 8, 1905 at Wellsboro (PA) by Bishop Henry Spellmeyer.
