Clara V. Dixon, 87, of Peoria passed away Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, at her residence.
She was born on Oct. 5, 1922, the daughter of Ellis and Macie Crowder Lansford. She married Dale F. Dixon on Nov. 22, 1947, in Peoria. He passed away on May 8, 1989, in Peoria.
She also was preceded in death by one brother.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Joyce (Robert) Scobee of Buckeye, Ariz.; one son, Douglas (Margorie) Dixon; as well as one brother, Kenneth (Betty) Lansford of Chillicothe; and two stepbrothers, Robert (Jan) Lansford and Rick (Ann) Lansford, both of Peoria.
She was a homemaker.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a private graveside service is scheduled for a later date in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
