Born to Fred T. and Mattie E. Horner Beavers. He had been a farmer, school bus driver, worked in the stone industry and for B&O Railroad.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita L. Robbins Beavers, one son, Henry and 12 daughters, Wanda Hash, Kay Nicholson, Wilma Smith, Betty Cochrum, Rita Reynolds, Barbara Lambert, Jenny Goens, Sherry Myers, Sarah Ritter, Alice Thompson, Ivy Tincher and Lecia Wischmeier; four brothers, Edmond, Curtis,Thomas and Gene, seven sisters, Pearl Wright, Mildred Petry, Chloe Walker, Frances Dalton,Lula Bell Wolka,Mary Foster and Ruth Silberman; 32 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister and six grandchildren.
Services will be at the Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Chenoweth officiating. Burial will be at Dixon Chapel Cemetery.
