Cecelia I. Leese, widow of William D.K. Leese, died Thursday May 7, 1942 at her home in Mt Pleasant this county, following a long illness. She was a daughter of the late Leander and Ellen C. Burgoon Mathias, and was aged 73 years.

She leaves the following children: George F.L. Steibel, William Ralph Leese, Mrs. Eldon Myers; two step-children, Eltinge and Lester Leese at home; and a brother and four sisters: Joseph L. Mathias, Sr., Mrs. Nannette Martin, Mrs. A.J. Bemiller, Mrs. Edward Yingling and Mrs. Charles Frock. Five grandchildren survive. Burial will be at Bachman's Cemetery, Bachman's Valley/
