South Greenfield --- Funeral services for Lorren A. Adams, 89, rural South Greenfield, who died at 9:05 a.m. Friday at Oak Hill Hospital, Joplin, where he had been a patient three days, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Morris-Leiman Funeral Home, Miller.

The Rev. Bob Holman will officiate. Burial will be later in Highland Memory Gardens, Denver, Colo.

Mr. Adams was born Dec 31, 1895, at Pawnee, Okla. He had resided in this area about 40 years. he was a retired farmer.

He was a member of the Hardtner, Kan., United Methodist Church. He is survived by five sons, Albert Adams, Alvin "Buck" Adams and Francis Adams, all of rural South Greenfield; Orvan Adams, Miller Route 1 and Bill Adams, Miller; a daughter Dorothy Byers, Denver; two brothers Orville Adams, Paola, Kan., and Ralph Adams, Winfield, Kan., 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel.
