************

Marion Sullivan was the "Old-fashion Southern Gentleman." He still believed in opening doors for ladies, standing when a lady entered the room, etc.
In 1938 Marion was in the CCC Camp when his father died. Marion came home to take over the plantation Mr. Sullivan was renting, and care for his younger sister and brother; also his sister-in-law and her three little girls.

Marion was a "Big Brother" to my sister and me. He took care of us the same as he did his sister Maggie Sue.
After WWII Marion married Mapha Barrentine. She was a few years older than him and the last few years of her life she was sick. Marion cared for her until she died. Later he married Lucille Sullivan. After her death he married Agnes Kerr.
Marion and Agnes came to all the Newton Family Reunion and Marion was always contented and happy.
Marion Sullivan was a great guy. He was my "Big Brother."
