Mrs. Mary O. Vandruff died at her home in Kahoka, Missouri Saturday morning, April 4, 1915 after a lingering illness, aged 46 years, 2 months and 7 days.

The funeral services were held at the Christian church at Williamstown, at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 6, conducted by Rev. D. M. Carr, of Canton. The burial was in the cemetery at Williamstown.

Mrs. Mary O. Vandruff was born in Tazwell county, Va., on Jan. 27, 1869, her maiden name having been Mathena. She came to Clark county, Missouri in her childhood and had since resided here with the exception of but a short time. She was united in marriage with George N. Vandruff, Dec. 16, 1894. Her husband preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn their loss one daughter, Mrs. Mabel Overhulser of Smithshire, Ill.; one son, Roscoe Vandruff of Kahoka; one sister, Mrs. George Ritter, of Granger; two brothers, A. W. Mathena, of Sapulpa, Okla.; and W. E. Mathena, of Wyomimne besides a host of other relatives and friends.
