Leo Berlin Biller Jr., 69, of 335 Monticello Ave. in Harrisonburg, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg. He had been ill for the past week.

A son of the late Leo Berlin Biller Sr. and Pauline Mathias Biller, he was born Jan. 25, 1935, in Rockingham County and lived his entire life in Timberville and Harrisonburg.

Mr. Biller served in the Army and had been employed by the former J.S. Denton & Sons Furniture Store for 32 years and Grand Piano Furniture for 12 years. He was a former member of the Eagles, Moose Lodge and American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Mary McKenzie Biller, whom he married Sept. 28, 1989; a son, T. Scott Biller of Harrisonburg; a stepson, Gary Hulvey of Harrisonburg; a stepdaughter, Mary Beatty of Fort Collins, Colo.; three sisters, Mary Lee Dean, Beverly Stayner and Helen Fox, all of Harrisonburg; a brother, William "Billy" Biller of Timberville; three grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

His body will be cremated at the Lindsey Cremation Chapel. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg with the Rev. L. Douglas Hill officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the funeral home.
