Darlin R. Custer, 66, of 1325 Church Road, Hershey, died yesterday in Hershey Medical Center.
He was retired from Hershey Foods Corp.; an Army veteran of World War II; and a member of Hershey Free Church and Chocolate Workers Local 464.
Surviving are his wife, Janice Siever Custer; a daughter, Karla S. Eckert of Hershey; his mother, Beda Tusing of Campbelltown; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Hoover Funeral Home, Hershey. Burial will be in Grand View Memorial Park, North Annville Twp.
Viewing will be from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Roy R. Mathias, 90,
St. Wendelin Catholic Cemetery, Fostoria.
He was born April 6, 1908 in Rockingham County, Virginia to William and Sarah (Strawderman) Mathias. He married Wanda M. Orians on Aug. 6, 1938 in Tiffin, and she died Feb. 21, 1994.
Surviving are a son, Gene of Findlay; three daughters, Mrs. Jack (Marilyn) Runion and Mrs. Robert (Donna) Decker, both of Findlay; Mrs. John (Carol) Coleman, Cliffton, Va.; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ted, in Virginia; and a sister, Pauline Biller, in Virginia.
He also was preceded in death by four brothers, Louis, Jess, Walter and Joseph; and five sisters, Helen Whitmer, Effie Fadley, Minnie Wilt, Mary Rinker and Clara Dillard.
Mr. Mathias was a custodian for the Fostoria City Schools for 20 years.
He was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria.
