The funeral service for Mr. & Mrs. William E. Haigler was held at the Johnson Chapel Saturday, July 30, 1966, with the Dr. J.R. Hale officiating.

Mrs. C.H. Pankratz accompanied by Mrs. Hazel Slane, sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "In The Garden". Pallbearers wereHarry Woosley, Perry Swan, Richard Cleaver, Melvin Harris, Wilbur Chandler, and Gus Demler, Erie, KS. Burial was in the Elmwood Cemetery, Chanute, Kansas.
