COLLEGE STATION — Services for John Elvon Miller, 98, formerly of Temple, will be 3 p.m. today at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station.
Burial will be in Bryan City Cemetery.
Mr. Miller died Friday, Jan. 1, in Round Rock.
He was born March 22, 1911, in Milano to Jonathan K. and Mary McNeely Miller. He retired from Southern Pacific Railroad in San Antonio after 43 years as a locomotive engineer.
Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Rosencrans of Georgetown; a son, Elvon J. Miller of San Antonio; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation is 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
