LARUE: The angels in heaven are enjoying the addition of Adam Don James Waterer, age 26, who went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at his residence with his parents by his side holding his hands.
Adam was born January 14, 1983 in Marion, Ohio to Randy and Connie (Shoffner) Waterer.
He was a wonderful father to Carrissia and Mercedes Waterer.
He will be dearly missed by his brother, Michael L. Waterer; sister-in-law, Heather Waterer; grandfather, Darrell J. Shoffner Sr.; grandmother, Margaret Waterer; nieces, Crystal Rose Waterer, and Ariana Waterer; nephew, Michael Lee Waterer II all of Marion; aunts, Vickie (Dave) Kempt of Marion, Betty Hudson of Jacksonville, Florida, Lori (Brett) Jobe of Mt. Gilead, and Patty (Rob) Cottrill of Marion; uncles, Joseph (Karen) Waterer of Palmer, Alaska, Matthew (Cathy) Waterer of LaRue, Darrell (Lisa) Shoffner Jr. of Marion; and numerous cousins and friends who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Diane Rose Shoffner; and grandfather, Donald F. Waterer, both of whom are with him now.
Adam was a member of Grace Baptist Church and loved his family as well as his Church family. He had a very big heart that he opened to a lot of people especially Bill Middleton who was very dear to Adam. He played drums in the marching band at Elgin High School for one year. He graduated from Tri Rivers JVS (Electronics) and from Elgin High School in 2001.
He was an adventurer and loved the adventures he found on his trips to Alaska to visit his uncle Joe and his family. He "LOVED" fishing, trail riding on quadrunners and his yearly trips to the amusement parks.
Adam, so full of life, fought a courageous life long battle of Cystic Fibrosis. God saw him getting tired, a cure not meant to be. So, He wrapped His arms around him, and He whispered "Come With Me".
