They had one known child, dau. Lillian Frances, who died in infancy.
Although Melissa d. of record at the Village of Morrisville, in the Town of Morrisville, VT and has a gravestone at Waterville, in 1894 her former husband purchased a family plot at Pleasant View Cemetery on the south side of Morrisville. According to the Town of Morristown, Melissa (Redding) Hendee, along with George Whitman Hendee's parents and his 2nd wife, are now interred at Pleasant View Cemetery, notwithstanding that Melissa's original gravestone at Waterville is still in place.
