ALTAMONT, TN — Bonnie Sue Fults Rieben, 68, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2010, after a bout with melanoma cancer.

Mrs. Bonnie retired from North Elementary School after teaching for 30 years in the Grundy County Education System. She was born along with her twin sister, Betty, on March 7, 1941 to Malcom A. and Willie Mae Lusk Fults who preceded her in death along with her brother, Robert Louis Fults.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Rieben; sister, Betty Lou (Ted) Armstrong, of Miami, FL; a sister-in-law, Addie Lee Fults, of McMinnville, TN; her daughters, Celeste (Dennis) Wolfe, of Signal Mountain, TN, and Serene Carter, of Tullahoma, TN; stepdaughter, Tracey Anderson, of Winchester, TN. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Ethan Wolfe, Emilee Wolfe, Meadow Sluder, Macy Sluder and Anastasia Anderson. Mrs. Bonnie leaves behind a whole host of cousins, lots of friends, and many, many students she taught over the years.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. CST Saturday at Altamont Church of Jesus of Latter-Day Saints. Bishop Aaron Barrett will preside with assistance provided by Elder Dennis Wolfe, Elder Garry Miller, Elder Keith Fults, Sister Pamela Fults, Elder David Gelinas, Sister Monica Gelinas and others.

Interment will follow in Altamont Cemetery.

Visitation 2 until 10 p.m. CST Friday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, TN 1 until 2 p.m. CST at the Church on Saturday.
