Mrs. Bessie Hemmerling Morrison
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Virgil Wilson Funeral Home chapel for Mrs. Bessie Hemmerling Morrison, who died Wednesday at her home on North Bentsen Road at the age of 93.
The Rev. Murray, pastor of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery under direction of Virgil Wilson Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Carl Anderson, Harold Fogle, H.J. Wright, George Hersh, Larry Rose, and Ted Robison.
Mrs. Morrison had resided in McAllen for 47 years, coming here from Woodston Kansas. Survivors include a son, Rolla Hemmerling of Mission; three daughters, Mrs. May Russ of Greensburg, Kansas, Mrs. Lillian Wright of San Benito; a brother, Glen Archer of Gardenia, California; seven Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren, and four Great-Great-Grandchildren.
