"Donald P. Leist, age 55, of 9802 Hillcrest Rd., Whitelaw, died Sunday afternoon, June 15, 1997, as the result of an automobile accident.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 1997, at Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Kellnersville. Deacon Donald Schneider will officiate with cremation to follow.
Donald was born March 13, 1942, at Manitowoc, son of the late Paul and Blanche Tesarik Leist. He graduated from Reedsville High School in 1960. Don farmed in the town of Kossuth his entire life.
Survivors include two brothers and one sister-in-law, Dale “Butch” Leist, rural Whitelaw, Allen and Barbara Leist, rural Manitowoc; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Ann Kramer, Manitowoc, Karen and Elroy Nienhaus, rural Cato, Diane Leist, Manitowoc; four nephews, Pat and Todd Nienhaus, Chad and Derek Leist; two nieces, Debra Borowski, Nichole Nienhaus; other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Relatives and friends may call at Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Kellnersville, on Tuesday from 5-9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service."
