Joyce L. DeWert Lennington, 91 years old of Monroeville, Indiana, passed away 11:21 a.m. on November 17, 2006 in the Parkland Health Center Hospital located in Farmington, Missouri. Joyce was born on June 18, 1915 in the daughter of the late Charles Wiley and the late Loretta (Wilson) Wiley. She married the late William E. Dewert, and he passed away in 1953. Joyce was a member of Altrusa Porfessional Women's Group. She was the former owner of Square Deal Farms, which dealt in the poultry and egg business. Surviving are her son, Arthur (Marvene) DeWert of Convoy, Ohio, son, William DeWert of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, daughter, Frances Lare of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, daughter, Mrs. Gary (Annette) Witte of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, friend, Bill Grasberger of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, fifteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. There is no visitation and there will be a private burial in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Monroeville EMS or Village of Heritage Nursing Center.
