Mrs. Rose Alice Huffman Ankrom, wife of Leslie Ankrom, Jefferson Township, died yesterday at 8 a.m. from complications. She had been seriously ill for a short time and had been a semi-invalid for the past 26 years.
The deceased was born in Whiteley Township, August 11, 1884, the daughter of the late William and Bixie Delaney Huffman. She joined the Christian Church at the age of 16.
On November 28, 1903, she was married to Leslie Ankrom, who survives, together with three children: Miss Mary E. Ankrom, at home; Mrs. Viola Phillips, Waynesburg R. D. 4; Mrs. Mae Phillips, Waynesburg, R. D. 6; one brother, Cy Huffman, Waynesburg, R. D. 3, and one sister, Mrs. Eli Guthrie, Jefferson, R. D. 1.
