OBITUARY- Melba Joyce Winter, 73, homemaker, died of cancer Tuesday at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.
Services will be at 10:30 am Friday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Ellzey Cemetery near here.
She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Mrs. Winter, the widow of William Brooks Winter, leaves a daughter, Brenda Busby of Pittsboro; sons, Billy Winter of River Ridge, LA, Michael Winter of La Place, LA and Stephen Winter of Clinton, MS; sisters, Opal Gordon of Atlanta, Margaret Winter of Vardaman and Wanda Schumpert of Fulton; a brother, Herbert Langston of Eupora, four grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
