Massie Rites Set for Pine Grove
Young Man Dies After Operation; Funeral Set Today
Funeral services for Pink Massey, 25 years old, who died in a local hospital Tuesday morning ten days after he underwent a major operation, will be conducted by Rev. G. E. Thompson at the Pine Grove Baptist Church near Glen Morrison this afternoon at two o'clock. Burial in charge of Foster Undertakers will be made in the Pine Grove Church Cemetery.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Esther Massey, two children, Elsie Mae Massey and Lacy Ray Massey, all of Glen Morrison survive.
His parents, Mr. & Mrs. Will Massey of Little Pine, N. C., three brothers Dock Massey of Glen Morrison, George and Richard Massey of Little Pine; three sisters, Bessie Massey, Ruby Massey, Sarah Jane Massey, all of Little Pine, Mrs. Dean Bailey and Mrs. Henry Bailey of Glen Morrison are also living.
