William R. Parshall, aged 71, of Cape May avenue, Pittsburgh, Pa., died at his home, Friday, Dec. 17, 1943, at 8:30 p.m., from a heart attack. He was a member of the auxiliary police in Pittsburgh, and was born November 3, 1872, in Greene County, son of the late Albert and Mary Ann Rush Parshall, and was a former oil and gas worker in Greene County, having lived in Pittsburgh for the past five years. He was the last of seven children and surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Fern Sweeney, of Greensburg, and Mrs. Nellie Wentonworth, of Franklin. Two grandchildren aslo survive. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Somerset, Ohio, and Syria Temple of Pittsburgh.
