She was born in Kibbee and lived all her life in Toombs County. She was a retired seamstress and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Vidalia.

SURVIVORS: a daughter and son-in-law, Marjorie and Allen xxx; a son and daughter-in-law, Curtis and Nina Lewis of Vidalia; a sister, Aldeen Banks of Vidalia; four grandchildren, Dawn, Mike, Brian and Al; four great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL: 11 a.m. today at Murchison Funeral Home, burial in Lyons City Cemetery. -Savannah Now, Feb 2000
