David Hawkins Crayne, 69, well known Morgan Township resident, died Saturday evening, July 13, 1946, at 7:30 o'clock at his home, Jefferson, R. D. 1, after an extended illness.
A native and lifelong resident of Morgan Township, he was born Feb. 18, 1877, a son of the late Jacob and Arabell Bosworth Crayne. Mr. Crayne was a member of the Jefferson Baptist Church. Besides his wife, Mrs. Mae Crayne, he leaves one daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Gwynne, Jefferson, R. D.; one son, Robert W. Crayne, Jefferson, R. D.; four grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Ida Pitcock, Waynesburg and Mrs. Jessie Pollock, Marianna, R. D. 2, and one brother, W. T. Crayne, Jefferson.
