Rozier, known as 'Hall,' was the son of Dr. Maurice Ward & Helen Clay (Hall) Pearson. His siblings were Maurice Ward Pearson, Jr. & Gordon Dulany Pearson.
He was married to Dorothea R Burbach the daughter of Louis William & Emilie V. (Wehrie) Burbach. A son, Thomas Hall Pearson, was born in St. Louis on April 28, 1933.
Rozier was employed as a Sales Supervisor for Bell Telephone Company. He & his wife, Dorothea, were living in Kirkwood, MO when he was was admitted to St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond Heights. He was there three weeks when he developed "Gastrointestinal Hemorrhage," which lasted two days before his death at 6:35 p.m. on Nov.23, 1947. He had lived 46 years, 6 months, & 28 days.
His wife was the informant on his death certificate. He was buried on Nov. 25.
Dorothea died in St. Louis on April 9, 1982. Their son Thomas Hall Pearson died in October 1985. All three are buried in Calvary Cemetery. Their daughter Helen Hall Pearson (Sister Deborah) died August 1987. Their granddaughter Melissa Carlton Pearson died July 1992. Their son John Ward Pearson died June 1996.
