BASILE------------ Funeral services for Kermit LeJeune, 80, of Basile, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug 11, 2000, at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Reed Cemetery in T-Mamou under the direction of Quirk and Son Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held until 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until the time of services on Friday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. tonight. Mr. LeJeune was born in Acadia Parish on Sept. 15, 1919 and died on Tuesday, August 8, 2000, at the Jeff Davis Nursing Home in Jennings.

Survivors include his four sons, Buford James "Rock" LeJeune of Jennings, Connie Dale "Gro" LeJeune, Milan "Smiley" LeJeune and Darrell Paul LeJeune all of Basile; one daughter, Joanette LeJeune Klumpp
( Wayne) of Jennings; one brother Bryan LeJeune of Jennings; three sisters, Effie LeJeune Klumpp ( Roman ), Ivy LeJeune Bergeaux ( Allie) , and Della LeJeune Bergeron (.Raymond), all of the Basile, Tepetate, and T- Mamou area; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
