DR. GLENN R. NORTHUP DIES, PHYSICIAN HERE 25 YEARS
Dr. Glenn R. Northup, a physician and surgeon here for 25 years, died today at St. Mary's Hospital of a stroke. He was 71 years old and lived at 7371 Princeton avenue, University City.
Dr. Northup, a specialist in industrial medicine, was graduated from Hahnemann Medical School, Philadelphia, Pa. He dame to St. Louise in 1932. He maintained an office at 740 South Fourth street from 1933 until his retirement in 1958. He was on the staff of St. Mary's, Alexian Brother and Missouri Pacific Hospitals.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Northup; a son, Reid B. Northup, St. Louis; a daughter, Mrs. Gayland Leigh, Chicago, and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Birkland, Erie, Pa. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at Christ the King Catholic Church, 7300 Balsom avenue, University City, with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
