The many friends here of Leon Sellers, who was born and reared at Bezer in this county, were grieved to learn of his untimely death which occurred in Alabama sometime during the night of Saturday August 31. He was discovered on the railroad track badly mangled and lived only a few minutes after being found.
Mr. Sellers was a brother to Messers Manning and Grover Sellers, of Raleigh; Louie Sellers, of Richton, and Mrs. Luther McLaurin, of Collins.
He was a World War Veteran and was living in a Veterans' Camp at the time of his death. His remains were conveyed to his old home at Bezer for interment.
